☕️ Alice’s Mad Tea Party Presents:

ðŸ«– Alice Spills the Tea:  The Curse of the Silver Mirror

Oh, darling, you know I live for this.

Now, sit down, grab a drink—no, not that one, unless you like waking up in another dimension—and let’s talk about mirrors.

Most people? They look in a mirror, fix their hair, admire themselves (or cry, but that’s another story), and go about their day.

But not all mirrors are just mirrors.

And this one—the Silver Mirror of Ebonridge Manor—well, this one has a secret.

The Tale of the Silver Mirror

A long time ago, before 4EverMore was the glittering, immortal wonderland it is today, there was a noblewoman named Lady Evangeline Mourne. She was the type of woman poets wrote sonnets about—beautiful, mysterious, and, unfortunately, cursed beyond belief.

You see, Evangeline had a gift. She could see beyond what normal eyes could perceive—spirits, visions, glimpses of fate.

One day, a traveler arrived at her estate, bearing a gift—a mirror framed in pure silver, engraved with runes older than the gods themselves.

“It will show you what you desire most,” the traveler said. “But beware—desires are never without consequence.”

Evangeline, being a hopeless romantic, thought, Oh! Perhaps it will show me my true love!

So she looked.

And she screamed.

What She Saw
It wasn’t a lover’s face staring back at her. It wasn’t the future she dreamed of.

It was herself.

But not just herself.

Herself, staring through the mirror, eyes hollow, lips curled in a grin that did not belong to her.

And then—her reflection moved.

Not to mimic her. Not to copy her.

To reach out.

It slammed its hands against the glass, whispering words Evangeline couldn’t understand.

She tried to turn away. But she couldn’t. Her feet were frozen in place.

And then—the reflection stepped out.

That was the last time anyone saw Lady Evangeline Mourne as herself.

The Mirror’s Curse
From that night on, the noblewoman was different.

She looked the same, but she wasn’t. Her voice was hollow, her laughter… wrong.

She would stand in front of that mirror for hours, whispering secrets to someone unseen.

And then, people began disappearing. Servants, guests, even a young lord who came to propose.

Gone. Vanished.

The only clue? A flicker of movement in the mirror.

By the time anyone figured it out, it was too late.

One stormy night, the manor burned to the ground. Evangeline was never found. The mirror?

Gone.

Present Day: Where Is It Now?
Oh, darling, you didn’t think that was the end, did you?

Because the Silver Mirror of Ebonridge Manor still exists.

It reappears every few centuries. At auctions, in forgotten attics, in the homes of the terribly unlucky.

And the legend says: If you look into it at midnight, you won’t see yourself.

You’ll see her.

Lady Evangeline Mourne.

And if she smiles?

Run.

Because she’s been waiting for another chance to step through.

Final Thoughts from Yours Truly, Alice the Mad Mad Queen
Now, do I know where the mirror is today?

Maybe.

Would I tell you?

Absolutely not.

Because if you’re foolish enough to go looking for it, then you deserve whatever happens next.

Now, be a dear and pour me another cup of tea.

And whatever you do…

Don’t look too long in the mirror tonight.
